City of Enid Engineering officials announced today that beginning Wednesday, July 10, 2019 South Cleveland Street from West Oklahoma Avenue south to the BNSF Railroad track will be reduced to two lane traffic. In addition, West Oklahoma Avenue will be closed between South Cleveland Street and Arthur Street. These closures will allow construction crews to relocate a waterline at this location.  Officials estimate the project will take between two to three months to complete, weather permitting. The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 25mph. Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control and detour signs and to drive with caution in this area during the construction effort.
