Enid Streets getting a new coat of paint

Many Enid streets are getting a fresh paint job and motorists are encouraged to drive with caution when following the city’s new paint vehicle.

Mike Williams, Technical Services Supervisor for the City of Enid said, “motorists are passing the paint truck and driving through the fresh paint which gets on their vehicle and impacts the work being done on the pavement.” Williams asked that motorists be patient should they get behind the paint truck and to avoid passing.

With the addition of a new paint truck to the Public Works fleet, a comprehensive effort has been underway to repaint lines on the driving surfaces throughout Enid.
