Not only will local Enid residents be able to have fun during the Cherokee Strip Parade on September 14th, they will also get the chance to celebrate with the best junior college baseball team in the nation. Following the Parade in downtown Enid, Northern Oklahoma College in Enid has announced that there will be a ring ceremony and celebration downtown to honor the first baseball national championship in school history.

The celebration will not only commemorate the 5-4 victory the Jets had in the NJCAA World Series Finals back in May, but it will also be a fun morning and afternoon for everyone in Enid overall. The Jets baseball team will also serve as the Grand Marshals for the parade, which will begin at 10:30am just up the street from David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
