Enid City Manager Jerald Gilbert announced today the selection of Scott Morris as the new Assistant City Manager.

In his announcement, City Manager Gilbert said, “I am absolutely thrilled to have Scott on the team!  He is exactly the right fit!  He has worked for the City for ten years and is an Enid person.  He has lived in the big city and has chosen to come back to Enid to live and raise his family.  He will be of great assistance to myself, City staff and the City Commission in supervising the day-to-day functions and activities!  It will be an easy transition for him from his current position of Solid Waste Supervisor.”

Morris began his career with the city in 2009 as the Utility Services Manager and started serving as the Solid Waste Supervisor in April 2017.
