Discover Oklahoma will be airing a special “Salute to Veterans” episode on Saturday, November 9, 2019. As part of the episode, the promotional video done by the Enid Television Network on the Woodring Wall of Honor in Enid, Oklahoma will be featured.
The airing of the special Salute to Veterans episode will be as follows:
- Saturday, November 9: KFOR/OKC – 6:30 pm,
- Saturday, November 9: KSWO/Lawton – 8:30 am,
- Sunday, November 10: KTUL/Tulsa – 5:00 pm.
The Woodring Wall of Honor is an 80% replica of the Veterans Memorial Wall located in Washington, DC. It was dedicated on Veterans Day in Enid, Oklahoma. It was declared Oklahoma’s Official Vietnam War Memorial in a proclamation signed by former Governor Mary Fallin. The memorial is accessible to the public free of charge from 7 AM until 9 PM every day of the year. The Woodring Wall of Honor is located one mile south of Highway 412 and 66th Street at the Enid Woodring Regional Airport (KWDG).
