Enid Public Schools announced that there will be a public hearing to decide the job status of former campus police chief Mike Dods at noon on November 14th.

A vote will be held among the EPS school board members to either fully reinstate Dods in his former role or terminate his employment permanently.

The public hearing will be held in the boardroom of the Administrative Services Center 500 S. Independence.

Dods has been under fire from Enid High administration for disobeying directions to “hide acts of violent student conduct and student threats on multiple occasions,” according to Oklahoma Education Association, a teacher’s union supporting Dods.
