As many of you may know, Leonardo’s Children’s Museum is very well known for pottery. The museum has its own kiln room specifically for firing pottery pieces! Leonardo’s
is hosting a pottery day on Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is an open lab for creation, and families are welcome to come at any time.

For pottery day, guests can either pay $5 for a 12 oz ball of clay to create Christmas projects, bowls, cups or any project you wish, or you can purchase a premade piece at the front desk to paint. The event will be hosted by Leonardo’s educational team, Jamie Castle and Joyce Fales. The two educators are going to guide and teach you the basics of pottery! There will be
little figurines as gifts at the portal door to the Annex for the first 40 people. Tell a friend or bring a friend and come to Leonardo’s for pottery day!
