Thanksgiving holiday to close city offices and adjust trash schedule

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Enid Administration officesAnimal Control, Enid Public Library, and Recycle Center will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29.

City of Enid officials announced today that the Thursday trash route will not be collected on November 28. Thursday’s trash route will be altered with pick up dates as followed:

  • Monday, November 25th
  • Monday, December 2nd
  • *Thursday, December 5th – normal schedule resumes

 Friday’s trash route will be picked up on Friday as usual.

The landfill will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and will be opened on Friday, November 29 with operating hours from 7 AM to 2 PM.

The Meadowlake Golf Course will be closed Thursday, November 28 and will be opened on Friday, November 29 with operating hours from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

Officials stated Enid Public Transportation Authority (EPTA) will not be operating on Thursday, November 28th or Friday, November 29th in observance of the holiday.
