City of Enid Engineering officials announced the closing Kennedy Street between East Ash Avenue and East Cedar Avenue beginning Monday, December 2, 2019.
The closure will also include the intersection of Kennedy Street and East Cedar Avenue and will allow for the removal and reconstruction of the street and sidewalks. Kennedy Street will remain closed during the construction of the street which is expected to take a couple months.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control and detour signs and to drive with caution in this area during the construction effort.
