(Enid, OK) On January 18th 2020, Officers responded to 2305 N Grand at the Grand Express gas station in reference to a theft.
The store manager advised that a male came into the store and used the ATM. He advised that the male then went up to the counter and tried paying with a 20.00 bill that was counterfeit. The male was told that the money was counterfeit and they could not accept it.
Video surveillance shows that when the clerk leaves the counter the male reaches over and grabs a pack of Newport cigarettes, a Cash Explosion lottery ticket and a Bic lighter and leaves the store. In the video surveillance the male is seen getting into a silver in color Impala.
