(Enid, OK) Garfield County Commissioners held their regularly scheduled meeting yesterday morning. Commissioners met with Bluestem Pipeline, LLC discussing a road crossing application put forth by the company. Representatives talked about their process and method of laying down pipe work with regular checks in to seal integrity. Pipelines are meant to hold their seal for up to fifty years, according to Bluestem.

Commissioners wanted assurance that if the pipelines were to change hands for whatever reason, the guidelines put in place by Bluestem would insure any problems in the future would be covered. Bluestem presented bonds for such an occurrence, those are currently under review by the district attorney.

Commissioners approved re-appointments of fairgrounds trust authority officers for districts 1, 2, and 3 as well as officers for the Garfield County Juvenile Detention Center. All purchase orders and blanket purchase orders were also approved.
