(Stillwater, OK) The Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM) will be hosting their 11th annual two-day dental clinic. The free, two-day dental clinic that has provided dental care to thousands of Oklahomans will commence on Stillwater this week on Friday and Saturday.
More than 1,500 volunteers are on hand February 7 and 8th including dentists, dental and clinical staff, and general volunteers at the Payne County Expo Center in order to turn it into a functional dental facility. Services are being offered to people of all ages including exams, cleanings, extractions, fillings, root canals on front teeth and ways to improve the smile line with zero cost to patients. OKMOM provides free dental screenings and care to 1,600 people every year with no requirement of identification or insurance.
Over 16,000 patients have been treated since 2010, totaling over 12 million dollars in dental work.
