Enid Police Investigating Shooting

(Enid, OK) The Enid Police Department is looking for information on a shooting that took place on the night of February, 19th at approximately nine o’clock. Officers responded to a shots fired call in an apartment building at 1800 Mosher Drive.  Officers found a man, age 22, suffering from a gunshot wound and arterial bleeding from his arm. Medical first responders had not yet arrived on scene, officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm and immediately transported him by patrol car to Integris Bass Hospital as a life saving measure.

Investigating officers learned that several suspects had arrived at the victims apartment and attempted to rob him of medical marijuana. During the altercation, one of the suspects fired a round that struck the victim in the arm and then all suspects ran from the scene. The suspects were described as three young black males, 17 to 20 years of age.

The victim was later flown to an Oklahoma City area hospital for further treatment and is believed to be in stable condition. His identity is not being released.
