With the fear of the Coronavirus rising, the NBA has suspended their season and the NCAA announced last night that no fans are going to be allowed to attend any March Madness tournament game.

The OSSAA begins the Class 2A-6A State Tournaments today and released this statement via their website, OSSAA.com

“The OSSAA is actively monitoring the public health concerns related to COVID-19. Our Staff has been in contact with the Oklahoma Department of Health and based on the updates we have received, at this time will we proceed with all tournaments being played as scheduled. We do advise players, coaches, officials, contest workers and spectators to practice good hygiene by washing hands thoroughly and frequently; coughing and sneezing into kleenex and then immediately disposing of it are also recommended. Our Staff will continue to work with the State Health Department in monitoring the situation. The health and safety of all Oklahomans is a priority.”

Everything will go on as normal for now, they are asking people to use good hygiene.
