(Enid, OK) City commissioners approved the $163 million budget proposed Tuesday night with a unanimous decision. A $6.26 million deficit is to be made up by fund balances that have accrued over the past few years with $156.5 million being projected from revenue. A projected 10% decrease in sales tax revenue has been accounted for in this new budget.

The two amendments that Mayor Pankonin proposed for the state of emergency have also been approved. The first allows for bowling leagues in Enid to resume before June 30th while the other will open the city’s splash pads provided the safety of the area is secured. The splash pads are expected to reopen in June.
