(Enid, OK) When the Enid Regional Development Alliance gathers on the 27th, they will be looking at two major projects. The 7.1 acre lot in the District is up for discussion in an executive session after the 3 pm special session to discuss plans for a new movie theater.

Developers of the District have already brought on Colton’s Steakhouse, Jiffy Trip, and Hideaway Pizza. The District is planned to be a 13,000 square-foot shopping center.

The second part of the projects the ERDA is considering is incentives for a food waste processing plant along with $1.25 million in investments. Bringing the processing plant to Enid promises 10 new jobs with an average pay of $50,000.00. If successful, the potential growth of the waste processing center could bring $90 million and 200 jobs in to Enid.

The meeting is set to take place in the boardroom of the Strate Center.
