Rain forces Connie Mack Tournament to move schedule around, all Friday games cancelled

When baseball is being played, rain seems to always follow. And that is the case for the Connie Mack Qualifier in Enid, Oklahoma. All Friday games have been cancelled. The rain has forced the schedule to be rearranged and change a small rule.

The rule that is being changed is that the top two teams in Pool A and Pool B will NOT be moving on to Sunday’s semi-final round because the semi-final round has been eliminated. Now only the Pool A and Pool B winners will advance and go straight into the championship game on Sunday night.

Here is the updated schedule:

Saturday
9 am Enid Plainsmen vs Cherry Creek
11:15 am OK Mudcats vs Cherry Creek
1:30 pm Enid Majors vs Shockers Black
3:45 pm Bartlesville vs Shockers Black
6 pm Bartlesville vs OK Drillers
8:15 pm Shockers Red vs MVP 18
Sunday

11:30 am Enid Majors vs OK Drillers
2 pm OK Mudcats vs MVP 18
4:30 pm MVP Heath vs Shockers Black
