The 2020 AABC South Plains Regional Tournament Schedule has been released. The AABC Regional will take place at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, OK.

The Enid Majors and Enid Plainsmen both have been granted the right to play in this tournament because they are the ones hosting the tournament. During the regional qualifier, both the Majors and Plainsmen finished 3-1 in pool play showing off an impressive style of play.

This tournament will result in the winner earning a paid bid to the Connie Mack Classic.

There will be three pools with a total of four teams in each pool. Pool play will go from July 8 to the early part of the afternoon on July 11. At the conclusion of the pool play, the pool winners will be seeded 1-3, while the pool runner-ups will be seed 4-6. So a total of six teams will advance into the single elimination part of the tournament. The championship game will take place Sunday, July 11 at 3 p.m.

The Enid Majors are in “Pool C” with the St. Louis Sting, OK Drillers and a team to be announced later this week.

The Enid Plainsmen are in “Pool A” with the Flat Bill 17 (TX), 417 Red (MO) and Tish TBA (OK).

Games begin Wednesday, July 8 at 10 a.m. with the Enid Plainsmen kicking things off.

10 a.m. – Enid Plainsmen vs Flat Bill 17

Thursday, July 9

10 a.m. – Enid Majors vs St. Louis Sting

8 p.m. – Enid Majors vs Ok Drillers

Friday, July 10

8 p.m. – Enid Plainsmen vs 417 Red

Saturday, July 11

10 a.m. – Enid Majors vs TBA (MO)

3 p.m. – Enid Plainsmen vs Tish TBA
