(Enid, OK) The collective bargaining agreement proposed between the city of Enid and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees passed unanimously last night. The half-year pay raise will potentially increase for the current fiscal year if certain conditions are met.

If tax receipts for July through December total $18,474,053 a 2% raise will be instituted across the board. The pay rise will be on the first payroll of 2021.

Commissioners discussed the city charter in order to compensate the mayor and city commissioners that would allow citizens to decide on an ordinance proposal to specify compensation amounts. The earliest this could be done is January of 2021.

The annual contract with Main Street Enid at $75,000 was approved, renewing their agreement.
