(Austin, TX) The decision from CEO Elon Musk has been made, awarding the fourth U.S. Tesla factory to Austin, TX. Musk announced the decision following a second-quarter results meeting on Wednesday, July 22nd.

The site will be located near the Texas capital’s airport, fifteen minutes from downtown Austin on a total of 2,000 acres. In addition, Musk stated that it would be an “ecological paradise” that will have trails along the Colorado River, and an open boradwalk.

The factory itself will be constructing the Cybertruck and the Tesla Semi, along with Model 3, and Model Y vehicles for the East Coast.

Musk did not specify why he chose Austin over Tulsa.
