Oklahoma Sees Over 400 New COVID-19 Cases on Sunday

(Oklahoma City, OK) According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the state has gained 486 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday with no deaths being reported. The single day reports now makes a total of over 43,000 cases. Amongst the 6,911 active cases, seven of them have come out of Kingfisher county and five of them from Garfield county. Enid sees 4 of those cases. 

Kingfisher has also seen 4 new cases within the city alongside 3 new cases in Hennessy, and one new case in Lamont, Garber and Waukomis. Woodward County has seen a slight decrease in cases, but the OSDH reports that case numbers may fluctuate as addresses are being confirmed. The OSDH released that Garfield county has seen 452 total cases of COVID-19 with 323 recovering and 124 active cases. 

Enid has reported 5 COVID-19 related deaths, the last one being August 6th. 54 of 77 of Oklahoma’s counties have seen deaths due to COVID-19.
