Garfield County Adds 19 COVID-19 Cases, Oklahoma Officially Over 50,000 Total

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma has officially surpassed 50,000 COVID-19 cases and the state has had ten more deaths related to the virus, according to Thursday’s report to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

The numbers rose by 794 to make it 50,669 total cases since March.

The ten new deaths add to the total of 709 Oklahomans who have passed away due to COVID-19. None of those deaths have come out Northwest Oklahoma.

Garfield County officially has 671 confirmed cases, an 15 case increase from Wednesday.

In Enid, there are 10 cases at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and seven cases at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center who have tested positive for COVID-19.
