Kingfisher County Sees Big Rise in COVID-19 Cases, Over 500 Cases Added on Sunday

(Enid, OK) Northwest Oklahoma has seen a spike in COVID-19 cases as Hennessey in Kingfisher county has seen a 135% increase in just one week.

Hennessey saw a rise from 14 active cases to 70 as reported by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Overall, Oklahoma saw a rise of 566 COVID-19 cases with one more death in the 65 and older age group being reported in Oklahoma County.

Garfield County, as of Sunday, has 250 active cases of COVID-19. Garfield County is still considered “moderate risk”, but the Garfield County Health Department will have a testing day due to the rise in cases.
