Enid Public Schools Now Quarantining Over 500 Students & Staff Due to COVID-19

(Enid, OK) Schools are officially being labeled as COVID-19 “super spreaders” as schools around the state move into virtual learning or began quarantining hundreds of students.

As of Monday night, over 500 students and staff from Enid Public Schools have begun to quarantine due to positive COVID-19 test exposure.

Over 6 percent of enrollment at EPS schools are either in close contact quarantine or are in positive case isolation.

One class at Monroe Elementary School, one at Coolidge and one at Hoover were added to whole classes being quarantined.

The most individuals affected still remain at Monroe Elementary, with 134 staff and students quarantining or in self-isolation, and 23 more staff and students added since August 21st.
