(Enid, OK) Garfield County Republican voters will decide today who will be the next sheriff of the county. Voters will choose between incumbent Jody Helm and Cory Rink, the challenger, in the runoff race.
According to the Oklahoma State Election Board, no candidate received a majority of the votes in the June primary, so the top two vote getters, Helm & Rink, advanced to a runoff.
Since both candidates are Republican, only GOP voters will be allowed to cast ballots.
The winner of the runoff will become sheriff.
Stay tuned to Enid Live! for voting updates.
