Enid Resident Among 35 Deaths Statewide, 3.3k Cases Reported Sunday

(Enid, OK) The state saw 3,314 new COVID-19 cases and 35 additional deaths were reported on Sunday, including an Enid resident, by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Garfield County’s COVID-19 cases increased by 65 on Sunday for a total of 6,354 since March, with 562 of those being active cases.

Of the 35 deaths, 28 of them were in the 65 and older age group, five in the 50-64 age range and one each in the 36-49 and 18-35 age groups, according to OSDH.

Counties with reported deaths included five each in Oklahoma City and Tulsa; four in Cleveland; three in Creek; two each in Comanche and Grady; and one each in Pottawatomie, Canadian, Garfield, Hughes, Coal, Johnston, Kay, Wagoner, Logan, Caddo, McClain, Osage, Payne, and Seminole.

Other Northwest Oklahoma county case increases Sunday included 21 in Woodward, 18 in Kingfisher, 11 in major, seven each in Alfalfa and Woods, six each in Grant and Noble and four in Blaine.
