Enid Man Among 14 COVID-19 Deaths, 1.7k Cases Reported Statewide

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma reported 1,763 new COVID-19 cases and 14 more deaths reported, including an Enid man, on Monday, according to Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Of the 14 deaths reported on Monday, 12 in the 65 and older age group including two women and a man from Oklahoma County; men from Creek, Kay, Cleveland, Washington, Comanche, Garfield, and Stephens counties; and women from Pottawatomie, Logan, and Marshall counties. Men from Oklahoma and Stephens counties in the 50-54 age group were also reported.

Garfield County’s COVID-19 cases increased by 30 on Monday for an overall total of 6,644 since March, with 429 active cases.

There have been 3,293 deaths, in which COVID-19 was the cause or a contributing factor, reported by the OSDH.

Other county case increases in Northwest Oklahoma on Monday included 10 in Woodward, eight in Kingfisher, seven in Major, four in Blaine, two in Noble and one in Grant County.
