Enid Public Schools To Resume Mask Requirements Through School Year

(Enid, OK) Enid Public Schools students and staff will continue to wear masks through the end of the school year with district officials making masks optional at all outdoor events going forward.

The mask requirement would take effect immediately unless the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association overrides the decision.

Masks are a requirement for students and staff if Garfield County remains above 1.43 daily new cases per 100,000 population on a seven-day average, per the state Department of Health.

Garfield County, as of March 19th, reported an average of 8.4 cases per 100,000 population.
