Waukomis Resident Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Kingfisher County

(Kingfisher, OK) A Waukomis resident was admitted, in serious condition, to an Oklahoma City hospital after a single-vehicle accident around midnight on Wednesday, April 7th on a county road seven miles west of Dover, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

30-year-old Isaiah Thomas Forbes was transported by local EMS to Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher and then was transferred to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, according to an OHP report.

Forbes had been traveling east in Kingfisher County on an asphalt road, in a 2000 Toyota Tundra, when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, regained control onto the road and then went off to the left, overturning to rest on its roof in a creek, according to the OHP report.

The reported condition of the driver and cause of collision are under investigation.
