(Enid, OK) The Enid Fire Department was dispatched to a small house fire on the 700 block of North 16th Monday afternoon.
At around 3:30 p.m., a neighbor notified the occupant of the home, who was asleep, of flames that were seen on the back side of the house.
The fire was believed to be caused by smoking materials that were improperly discarded.
The resident and two dogs got out of the house safely.
