One Death Reported in Woodward County Accident

(Mooreland, OK) A juvenile was killed during a two-vehicle accident that saw a semi strike another vehicle, a mile west of Mooreland, in Woodward County Tuesday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Bryan Goodman was heading westbound on Oklahoma 50 when he didn’t adhere to the stop sign at the intersection with U.S 412 at 8:49 p.m. Goodman’s 2013 Chevrolet Impala was struck by Volvo Semi, driven by 59-year-old Alan Herz. After the accident, the semi was overturned off of the roadway.

Goodman was transported via Air Evac to Ascension VIA Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS and his juvenile passenger, of an unknown age, died at the scene due to injuries from the collision. Herz was not injured according to the report.

The cause of the collision and condition of the drivers are pending. all persons involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
