(Enid, OK) An Enid woman was arrested Monday night for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

35-year-old Michealle Lynn Clark was arrested and charged in relation to the April 3rd stabbing at a residence in the 200 block of East Wabash, according to Enid Police Department.

At 11:43 p.m. on April 3rd, officers responded to a hospital emergency room call where a 32-year-old woman was being treated and informed police that Clark had stabbed her.

Officers investigated and learned that the possible motivation behind the stabbing was due to the victim dating an ex-boyfriend of Clark, according to police.

While speaking with police, the victim said she was visiting a friend who is Clark’s neighbor. The victim said that Clark came to the residence and began to yell and that Clark stabbed her in the thigh and the left side of her neck before fleeing.

In an interview with the police, Clark told police that she didn’t remember the incident and had blacked out during the scuffle. She apologized and asked if the victims was okay.

The charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon was filed against Clark Tuesday morning.

Bond is set at $50,000.
