(Enid, OK) Former Northern Oklahoma College theater professor, Anthony Lee Luetkenhaus, has been charged with one count of first-degree rape after being arrested last week in Tonkawa.

With the rape charge, the 37-year-old former theater professor has been charged with two felony counts of sexual battery, one felony count of kidnapping and one misdemeanor count of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

He was charged on Tuesday in Kay County District Court and is scheduled to make his first court appearance at 9 a.m. on Friday.

NOC officials announced, via emailed press release, that Luetkenhaus’ employment was terminated Monday, within days of the police investigation.

NOC President Cheryl Evans said Luetkenhaus was banned from the campus for the protection of the entire campus.
