Blaine County Accident Sees 3 Injuries Sunday Afternoon

(Enid, OK) Three people were hospitalized after a two vehicle accident in Blaine County Sunday afternoon, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

59-year-old Coy Wayne Stevens and 59-year-old Sheryl Kay Jones were admitted to OU Medical Center in stable condition and 84-year-old Earl Devon Boyd was taken to Mercy Hospital in Watonga and transferred to the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City for health reasons unrelated to the collision, according to an OHP report.

Boyd was driving a Lincoln Town Car south on U.S. 270 at 2:45 p.m. when he suffered from a medical issue and made a U-turn in front of the motorcycle ridden by Stevens and Jones. Stevens attempted to avoid a collision but the Harley struck the vehicle on the passenger side, according to the OHP.
