State Adds 702 COVID-19 Cases in the Past Week, 9 Deaths Reported

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma gained 702 COVID-19 cases and nine deaths in the past week, according to Oklahoma State Department of Health on Wednesday.

The OSDH showed 454,094 total cases since March 2020 with 1,190 cases being active statewide, a decrease of 281 in the past week. Cases in Garfield County increased by two, in the past week, for an overall total of 7,815, with five active cases.

Of the county’s 139 deaths, 128 have been in Enid, with five in Lahoma, one each in Covington, Fairmont, Drummond, Garber and Waukomis and one not listed by town. Woods County gained nine cases in the past week.

No cases were reported in Alfalfa, Blaine, Grant, Kingfisher, Noble and Woodward counties.
