Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell says he hopes the band will regroup for at least one more album, according to Blabbermouth. Farrell appeared on AXS TV's At Home And Social With. . ., and explained, “I love the guys in Jane's Addiction and I wanna record with them. But I don't know what their plans are. But, I'll talk to 'em about it.”

He added, “These days, it's a little bit different. We — meaning us older guys that are established now — there's not really a need to come out with albums. Although maybe one more album before I die would be awesome, with Jane's. And I think we can do it too. I would like to be prolific for the next five years, I think. Then I'll be able to take a vacation.”

Perry went on to say, “I call 'em up from time to time, (and I tell them), 'I've got this track, man.' But they're not ready. So, I give it off to (my solo project), Kind Heaven Orchestra.

Jane's Addiction will always be based around the electricity generated between Perry Farrell and Dave Navaro. Upon reuniting in 2001, Farrell told us how he and Navaro worked hard at about fixing their broken relationship. “We had a chance to sit down and have a good cry about, he felt I wasn't his friend, and I felt he wasn't my friend. Y'know, friendship is a little bit different than making music together. It really is. There's something, maybe, even higher about making music together and there's something, maybe, more personal about being friends. But I always look forward to playing music with him.”

Jane's Addiction — Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney — have two shows on the books for this summer.

The band will play on September 10th in Redondo Beach, California at the BeachLife Festival, and on September 24th in Louisville, Kentucky at Louder Than Life.
