Ringo Starr has teamed up with brother-in-law and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh on a new cover of Bill Haley & His Comets' 1954 classic "Rock Around The Clock." The tune is one of four included on the former-Beatle's new EP, Change The World, released today (September 24th). The set also features a co-write with noted producer and 4 Non Blondes leader Linda Perry on "Come Undone."

We caught up with Ringo and he explained how he came to tackle the '50s chestnut: ["Well, I was sittin' here, I'm making' an EP, I'm in the middle of it, and I love the EP, 'cause it's four tracks. I don't know. . . I was just thinkin' about tracks for the EP, and I went through my head about memories and then I called Joe Walsh and he rocked. And it's a separate solo. You listen to it; the covers of 'Rock Around The Clock' — everybody plays that same solo. So, it was just one of those moments that I was sittin' around and I thought, 'Hey — I'm gonna do 'Rock Around The Clock.'"] SOUNDCUE (:28 OC: . . . Around The Clock)
