The Oklahoma Mennonite Relief Sale this Friday and Saturday at the Garfield County Fairgrounds is one of 46 held in the United States and Canada to raise money for the Mennonite Central Committee. The event features many handmade and homemade items including quilts, artwork, crafted woodwork, household goods, antiques, crafts and food. Come to the Oklahoma Mennonite Relief Sale for craft and quilt auctions, food booths and more. While browsing for items, feast on German sausage, bratwurst with sauerkraut, bierocks, homemade pies and various ethnic foods.
Come Friday for a hot dinner at $10 a plate and a musical program. Saturday’s activities begin at 7:30 am and include a pancake and sausage breakfast, crafters and the popular quilt auction. Other food items sold at the Oklahoma Mennonite Relief Sale include apple butter, Indian tacos, cherry moos, noodles, zwieback, fry bread, cheese, hams, kettle corn, homemade peppernuts, breads and much more.
