  • Lindsey Buckingham settled an accidental plagiarism lawsuit after issuing the song "Swan Song" believing he had written it. Back in 2000, Buckingham had been sent the demo of a song titled "Mind's Eye," and while eying a production deal with writers Jordon Zadorozny and Brad Laner, he had made a personal demo — which he forgot wasn't his and finished in time for his 2021 self-titled album. Upcoming editions of the album will have all three writers listed on the track.
    • A rep for Buckingham explained, "When this unintentional and inadvertent usage was raised to Lindsey, he quickly realized his mistake and a friendly resolution was made by all parties." (NME)

  • Bryan Adams is recovering in a Milan hospital after testing positive for Covid for a second time. Adams, who was forced to bow out of paying tribute to Tina Turner last month at her Rock Hall induction in Cleveland, tested positive upon his arrival on November 25th at the Milan Malpensa airport. Adams — who was hospitalized — was traveling to Italy to promote the Pirelli 2022 calendar, which is comprised of photos he shot of famous musicians.
    • Adams posted on Instagram: "Day two in Milan, and my thanks to all the kind nurses and doctors that have been looking after me. The shot I’m being given is anti thrombosis, it’s precautionary until I test negative." (Deadline)
