City of Enid officials announced today, that beginning on Monday, January 31st, BNSF Railway will close off a portion of North 10th Street at the railroad tracks between East Chestnut Avenue and East Willow Road.
The closure will allow crews to install new sections of rail tracks through the crossing and will be reopened on Thursday, February 3rd.
Only local traffic will be allowed on North 10th Street between East Chestnut Avenue and East Willow Road and through traffic will be detoured to North 4th Street.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control and detour signs and to drive with caution in this area during the construction effort.
