Vietnam Veteran Pilot and Okeene native is coming to Enid February 20th to tell his story.

Bob Ford a Vietnam pilot will be speaking at the M.L. Becker Learning Center at Woodring Regional Airport on Sunday, February 20th at 2:30 pm to tell his story. Ford flew over 1000 missions in Vietnam. Ford wrote down his experiences in Vietnam in the book “Black Cat 2-1”. 

Also, Ford has ties to Oklahoma graduating from the University of Oklahoma after completing their ROTC training program. Ford joined the army in 1966 and was flying helicopters one year later.

After leaving the army in 1969 Ford moved back to Okeene to manage the family business, a flour mill that Ford still manages. Admission is free to all attendees.
