The annual Career Fair for Enid Public Schools couldn’t come at a better time. That’s because the state of Oklahoma is in the middle of a statewide teacher shortage. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has taken action to combat the shortage like authorizing state employees to substitute teach and advocating for higher teacher pay.

Enid Public Schools has several positions to fill as the career fair which is Thursday, March 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Administrative Services Center board room, 500 S. Independence. Enid Public Schools has over 40 job listings listed on their website including a Head Girls and Boys Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director.

Some of the benefits the district lists are a 2000$ signing bonus for certain positions and higher than average pay compared to other state schools.
