The city of Enid announced on Wednesday that there would be a planned water outage on Thursday, April 14th to replace a fire hydrant that would last all day. Once construction crews get started, the outage will be on West Thompson Avenue from Pawnee St to Fowler St.
This marks the 2nd water outage in Enid this week. Planned or emergency water outages occur when the city needs to replace fire hydrants, water mains, or tie in new water mains to existing water mains.
