With the 2021-2022 academic school years coming to a close across NW Oklahoma, it’s only fitting to look ahead to the 2022 football season.

The Ringwood Red Devils, Waukomis Chiefs, and Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs will all have new leaders of their football programs.

For Ringwood, Eric Bradley will be the new football coach. Bradley replaces James Worley, who was named new Kremlin Hillsdale head football coach.

Bradley was previously the head coach for Wewoka (Class A), who went 5-6 in 2021. He’ll take over a young roster who won their district in 2021 for the first time in 49 years, going 9-2 under Worley.

Worley will take over a Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs team that was 4-6 in 2021.

Both Kremlin-Hillsdale and Ringwood will once again be in the same district in 2022-23 & 2023-24. They’re in a loaded District B-2 alongside Oklahoma Bible Academy, Cherokee, Garber, and Pond Creek-Hunter.

For Waukomis, a familiar name to many, Rustin Donaldson will be promoted to head football coach after spending time as an assistant with the Chiefs. Donaldson has had stops at Wewoka, Sharon-Mutual, Ringwood, and Garber. Waukomis was winless in 2021, but were in tight one-score games with both Kremlin-Hillsdale and Cherokee.
