Enid Public Schools Chooses Angela Rhoades to Replace Dudley Darrow as Assistant Superintendent

Enid Public Schools had chosen Angela Rhoades to replace Dr.Dudley Darrow as the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education. Darrow will be leaving the district to take the job as the new Chisholm Public Schools Superintendent across town.

Rhodes will begin her new duties starting Jul.1, she previously held the position of Superintendent for Guymon Public Schools. As for her education, Rhodes received her associate’s degree from Murray State College and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is also working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southern Nazarene University.

Rhodes was excited to get the job saying in a press release that “I am excited to be joining Enid Public Schools and honored to be the new assistant superintendent for secondary education and work under the leadership of Dr. Floyd,”.

Dr. Darrell Floyd in a press release said“Mrs. Angela Rhoades brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position of EPS Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education,” said Floyd. “Her knowledge of instruction and administration, combined with her central office experience at Woodward and three years of superintendent experience at Guymon will serve our district well. We are excited to have her joining our team.”
