City of Enid officials announced earlier today that there is an emergency water outage in downtown Enid. The outage is along North Washington St from West Randolph Ave to West Oklahoma Ave.

An outage occurred due to a broken water valve and services are expected to be restored by the end of the day. Fortunately, there is only one restaurant in the affected area and the other businesses wouldn’t be as reliant on water to operate.

It is unclear if the restaurant is affected by the outage.

Road Closure

City officials also announced that there will be a road closure between West Maple Ave and North Independence Avenue to repair sewer lines. The outage will begin on Monday, May 23rd, and is expected to last 2 weeks.
