The Oklahoma Blood Institute will be holding its annual “All American Blood Drive” at Oakwood mall tomorrow. During the spring the state of Oklahoma was in a blood shortage however OBI consultant Meaghan Dorn said, “we are currently not in a blood shortage but blood is so important we have to bring in 1200 units every single day and the 4th of July is one of our highest usages”.

So the blood drive is important to make sure that they are all stocked up on blood before the 4th of July. The blood drive takes place from 10 am to 4 pm at the Oakwood Mall Center court and while supplies last those who donate will receive an all-American blood donor t-shirt and a choice of tickets.

The choice of tickets is 1 ticket to the Science Museum of Oklahoma, 1 ticket to Frontier City, or 2 tickets to Safari Joe’s H20. My 957 radio station will also be there and will have a table set up.
