Monday morning July 18th, there were two separate wrecks that occurred at 2300 West Garriott near the intersection of Cleveland and Garriott. The 1st wreck involved a Jeep that went through a red light after initially stopping.

The driver of the jeep then stopped in the middle of the intersection before continuing and piecing the diesel tank of a truck. Next, the driver of the jeep received medical attention and may have been suffering from a seizure at the time of the wreck. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Due to the diesel tank of the truck being pierced, large amounts of diesel fuel were on the roadway. The next wreck was caused when the driver of a Ford Escape came to a stop after being asked to stop by a fireman because of the scene of the wreck.

After stopping the Escape was hit by a Dodge that was following and slid on the diesel spill. No injuries were reported for the 2nd wreck.
