At 11:30 am GSP Health held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new health clinic that will be built in Enid at Garland and Chestnut. In attendance at the event were Mayor George Pankonin and state senator Roland Pederson.
Golden shovels were used to ceremonially break ground in a sandbox that was placed rather than having those in attendance try to cut into the hard ground with the unsuited ceremonial gold shovels.
Pederson, and Pankonin both spoke to the crowd about the new facility and what it would add to the Enid community.
