Grass Fire put out near Railroad

The Enid Fire Department put out a large grass fire on 400 E. Oak near the railroad tracks early this morning. Enid Fire arrived on the scene at 5:45 am this morning and the fire was put out at 6:00 am.

What caused the fire is unknown at this time but it is believed to be unintentional. At around 2:00 pm the Enid Fire Department was called back out to the scene to put out smoldering kindling. No property was damaged during the fire and no injuries were reported.
